Gary Reasons - President

Jack West - National Director

As Co-Founder of PRO ATHLETES TEAM, Gary Reasons serves as President and oversees all aspects of the organization.  As a senior business executive, Gary has more than 20 years of experience within the IT industry and over 30 years of experience within the Sports, Media, and Entertainment industry.  

Gary spent nine years as a linebacker in the National Football League.  He was a fourth round draft pick in 1984 by the New York Giants and was instrumental in helping the team win two Championships, Super Bowl XXI & XXV.  As a team leader, he was elected by his teammates to the NFLPA Board of Directors and was further elected by the Board and served 6 years as Vice President on the NFLPA Executive Committee.  

Following his playing days, Gary has enjoyed a 30 year television broadcast career as a college football analyst with ABC Sports, ESPN, and FOX Sports. Concurrent to his broadcast work, Gary has utilized natural leadership, expert communication skills, and technology expertise to lead several prosperous businesses in the technology and healthcare industries. Gary’s technology background includes solution strategy and development for global technology firms such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services and NTT Data. 

As Co-Founder of PRO ATHLETES TEAM, ​Jack West serves as its National Director and will focus on the company’s regional development within the professional athlete community. Jack brings a wealth of marketing experience to the company which spans thirty years in healthcare, where he has been responsible for sales, marketing and management in corporate America. He has been part of very successful large enterprise companies including IBM, Olympus America Corporation, and United States Surgical Corporation.

Jack’s professional sports career spanned two NFL seasons with stops with the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints in 1974 and 1975. In addition to his role as an NFL player, Jack also developed the “Player Career Path Program”. This program set guidelines for NFL players to develop strategic career plans for the transition from professional sports to careers in business and corporate America. Jack has worked with players from numerous NFL teams and the “Player Career Path Program” continues to be used today by several Consultant & Career Investment Organizations.
